Logo design for Amazon Fulfillment Group

I just finished designing a Logo for my friend Peter Stocker of Story Trading, whose client is Amazon. The next phase is the application process — applying the Logo to clothing, signage, vehicles, site equipment and internal papers. Here are a some of my favorite concepts — the last one is the one the client picked.

Info Graphics for Univar

Over the past few weeks, I have been working on a series of six Info Graphics for Univar — a $5.5 billion dollar company. Basically, they are an industrial chemical distributor supplying products and distribution services to all major industrial market segments. For example, they sell Coca Cola their ingredients to make Coke.

I will post the six graphics once they are completed. In the meantime, here are a few examples that are inspiring me:

IPA Festival at the Parkway

This past weekend 2 friends and I went to the Parkway Tavern in Tacoma for the annual IPA Festival. The Parkway is a 70 (+) year old landmark — some say it is "the gem of the Stadium District"! We agree, especially since it is a few blocks from another historic 50's Tacoma landmark, Frisko Freeze! If you have never eaten, or rather, experienced their cheeseburgers (...lovingly placed, or jammed into the 50s style wax paper bag) (nice touch, btw) I highly recommend them! The next time I am in T-town, I am getting a malt as well!

A few of our favorites were the Mt. Shasta Mountain High, the Port Wipeout and the Beer Valley Delta 9. But, after reviewing this list (written pre-festivities) I don't recall seeing the Elysian Dry Hop Immortal, huh!? Perhaps we can go directly to the source for that one...
